The WOMAN Trial
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
We were commissioned to create a film raising initial awareness around The WOMAN Trial, a clinical trial that has the potential to save millions of women who suffer postpartum haemorrhaging (PPH).
Using existing footage captured by the research teams in Africa, we constructed an emotive narrative that took us into the lives of the medical staff, who deal with the often-fatal consequences of PPH every day and the families who risk losing a loved one.
To truly convey the significance of The WOMAN Trial and its potential to save lives, we used stylised typography to communicate statistics on PPH and the lives it claims.
