Activating a volunteer workforce to save our NHS
With NHS staff under pressure and under resourced, our brief was to capture the attention of the NHS workforce and highlight the tangible, sometimes hidden benefits NHS volunteers bring.
We needed to cut through the enormous lack of awareness & popular misconceptions around volunteers in hospitals.
Our campaign also supported the recruitment of volunteers into the NHS.
To cut through the blizzard of existing hospital communications, we created a visually striking campaign, taking a revealing human approach. Our creative juxtaposed incredible life stories with the transferable, and much needed, skills that were born out of those experiences.
The campaign consisted of print - posters and leaflets, social media banners, screen savers, plus emotive volunteer films to seed out both externally to encourage more volunteering, and internally to give NHS staff a warm, positive and helpful impression of the people there to support them.
