Next-Gen Eco Warriors: Otto

Climate change is undeniably a pressing issue, and in the last couple of years with rising temperatures and extreme weather events, it has been apparent just how far we still have to go in implementing actionable changes so all life on Earth can live in a habitable environment.

For our Next-Gen Eco Warrior series, we are reaching out to young people to get a fresh perspective on the matter. We know that young people around the world are becoming increasingly concerned with how this crisis is being handled and are taking an active role in voicing their opinions; we want to be an echo chamber for the future of tomorrow.

We asked Otto (8, UK) to create a film that highlights his views on what we need to be doing as a society to help the planet, and he sees his local ecosystems being impacted. He takes us on the journey of Desmond the duck to help raise awareness about river pollution, sheds light on the vicious consequences of littering, and offers small steps we can take to preserve life on our planet for years to come.
